Time

What role does persistence play in refining and developing your ideas?

I think figuring out what's going to work for the project, what you absolute want in it, and how to work around that. Refining is realizing something might not work, but another will work even better. It's kinda the evolution of the piece from idea to sketch to WIP to finished project. Persistence is important so you don't give up along the way. And not getting discouraged. And continuing it even though you might not like how it's turning out or begin to doubt how well the finished piece will look.

What was successful about your project and what needed more work and WHY?

I think it looks rather simple and that works for this piece. It doesn't looked cluttered or overwhelmed. It had a 'light' feel about it and the watercolor is bright and colorful. Which is a contrast to the more defined and black lettering. And the clock matches the ribbon/scroll which pulls it together and adds more interest so it's not to plain or simple. I really like how the watch turned out along with the 'T'.
I think the simplicity and light feeling work for this project because time is a pretty deep, complex theme/word and it's conflicting and another layer of contrast.
